Are you blushing?

Applying blush can seem very difficult and can be a daunting experience. Some people hit the trouble spot of applying a small amount of blush and they get it all over their face.

This will be the end result:  This would be a pretty interesting look for the office, you think? Okay so let's keep this look for the runway.

too much blush
I prefer to apply as little blush as possible to avoid the clown look. It’s always good to have a blush that’s not too bright if you’re trying to do an everyday look. It has to be more neutral and go well with your natural skin tone. Blush should be used to create a healthy, pretty look. Also using a good blush brush that you can easily apply will help make it look much more natural.

Here are 4 quick and simple steps to applying blush:
  1. Make sure to apply a little bit of blush to the brush but not too much because if it’s too little then you can at least build it up later. (Remember, in make-up, a little goes a long way.
  2. Smile and apply blush to the apple of your cheeks.
  3. Blend toward the hairline, then down to soften the edges.
  4. Blend thoroughly, keeping the most product on the highest part of the cheekbone.

Key Tip of the Day: When applying blush, stay above the nostrils. Going below nose level can look jowly.
